My name is Alma Washington and I’m a Senior Project Manager at the News Revenue Hub. I help digital news organizations launch, maintain and grow membership programs.

Previously, I was a Regional Growth Producer at The News and Observer. I managed social media strategy, newsletter production, SEO best practices and more as part of the Southeast Growth Team.
I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2018 with a degree in Media and Journalism, a minor in creative writing and writing for the screen and stage. While I was there, I worked as a Community Manager and oversaw a team of Resident Advisors, Office Assistants, and a 24-hour community service desk for the 400+ students that lived in my residence hall.
